Huntington Bank Bonuses

1. Open a new checking account: If you live in a state where Huntington Bank operates, you can open a new checking account online or in person at a local branch. If opening an account online, you must open it through the checking account promotion page; otherwise, the bonus will not be applied. 
2. Sign up for direct deposit: Receive a qualifying direct deposit within 90 days of account opening. Qualifying deposits are regular, periodic payments, such as payroll, pension, or government payments. 
3. Wait for the cash bonus: You will receive the bonus within 14 days of meeting the promotion requirements. 
   

The $400 bonus is only for new checking account customers. Existing customers and those who have closed a Huntingon Bank checking account within the past six months are not eligible. 

The following fees apply: 

• Monthly maintenance fee: $10; the fee is waived if you make monthly deposits to the account totaling $1,000 or more
• ATM fee: $0 for transactions at Huntington Bank ATMs; fee waived on first five non-Huntington ATM withdrawals per month plus the ATM operator's fee is reimbursed, after that a $3.50 fee applies for non-Huntington ATM use
• International transaction fee: 3% of the transaction amount
• Overdraft fee: $15 per overdraft item

2. Deposit $25,000 within 90 days: You must deposit $25,000 or more within 90 days of account opening and keep your account open for at least 90 days. The money doesn’t have to be deposited all at once; it’s the cumulative total that counts. 
3. Receive the bonus: Once you meet the promotion requirements, Huntington Bank will deposit the bonus into your account within 14 days. 

The bonus is only available to new checking account customers. Existing customers, including those with other types of accounts with Huntington Bank, are not eligible. Transfers from other Huntington Bank accounts do not count as qualifying deposits.

• Monthly maintenance fee: $25; the fee is waived if you maintain a balance of $25,000 or more in Huntington Bank accounts
